Welcome to the photo haiku challenge!

Haiku was established in Japan as far back as the 9th century with a specific structure. That is, many Japanese poets wrote in a 5-7-5 syllable pattern. If read in Japanese, most ancient haiku would have five syllables, or sounds, in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the last. The Academy of American Poets asserts, "As the form evolved, many of these rules - including the 5-7-5 practice - have routinely been broken. However, the philosophy of haiku has been preserved: the focus on a brief moment in time; a use of provocative, colorful images; an ability to be read in one breath; and a sense of sudden enlightenment and illumination."

Dear Beloved ones,

I am Quan Yin,

I and all of your guides are embracing you. It has not been an easy start to the new year. The energies are at a rapid pace to bring you to higher consciousness. I am here to tell you dear ones that you are not alone. We feel the urgency and turmoil that you are going through. We are sending immense Love, Healing, and Compassion to humanity, to all of the creatures and to Mother Earth.
Open your hearts to find the comfort that you seek. This is all a deeper inner learning for you to carry on throughout your lives. This is the year to truly open your hearts and let go of what you have been holding onto. Forgive yourself and others. Be free of the burdens that have been weighing you down. Do not give up beloved ones, you are needed at this time to be the bridge of love and light for humanity. To guide those souls along their path of enlightenment.
We encourage you to take the time necessary to be kind, nurture and stay quiet within yourselves. In doing so, surrender to your Divine. Allow Spirit to descend upon you with great love, healing and compassion. To embrace you with the light and guide you along your path of initiation.
We support you always especially now as you go within the stillness of your heart and listen to the truth that is anxiously waiting to be heard, understood, acknowledged and to propel you forward in the new frequencies of Love and Light. Trust your heart and you will always find inner peace and happiness.

Building the bridge of Love & Compassion:

Expanding the consciousness of Love & Passion

The Six Healing Sounds & The Inner Smile

This is one of the many practices of the Taoists. When people are under stress, the organs will be affected and will not function properly. The six healing sounds work to transform stuck emotional energy and stress from the organs into healing light.When the emotional energy is transmuted, it can be circulated throughout the body for healing.

The Inner Smile:

Is a guided meditation to bring in healing light of love and gratitude to the organs. It promotes deep relaxation and internal health. It is very complimentary to the six healing sounds.
